As we discussed yesterday, California got a great, albeit dangerous, swell in just in time for Labor Day weekend. One of the places getting pounded was the Wedge, a favorite surfing spot near Newport Beach in Orange County, which was reporting waves up to 20 feet. The clip below shows some of the impressive waves along with great rides and spectacular wipe outs.
